It's playoff time, and Saratoga Springs had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the Colonie Central Wolfpack 4-3. Winning may never get old, but the Blue Streaks sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

Charlie Greiner and Thomas Mcnamara dominated on the mound. Greiner tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit, while Mcnamara tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Greiner has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jack Covell, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

Saratoga Springs' victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Colonie Central, with the loss, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-5.

Saratoga Springs will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wolfpack: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
