Baseball Recap: Osage Takes a Loss

Osage came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-1 to the Blair Oaks Falcons. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Osage's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Blair Oaks, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Osage will face off against Moberly at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Blair Oaks, they will venture away from home to take on California at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
