The St. Francis Borgia Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Vianney Golden Griffins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Francis Borgia will be strutting in after a win while Vianney will be coming in after a defeat.

St. Francis Borgia was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Holt on Friday. The Knights blew past the Indians, posting a 34-7 victory. That looming 34-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

Meanwhile, Vianney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by Christian Brothers 55-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Golden Griffins were not able to get on the board.

St. Francis Borgia's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Vianney, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

St. Francis Borgia didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Vianney in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 28-23 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Golden Griffins' Sam Deen, who threw for 122 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 82 yards on only seven carries.
