Soccer Recap: Sharon Takes a Loss

Sharon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Wilmington Greyhounds, falling 8-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Sharon of the 8-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Sharon's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-2. As for Wilmington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sharon will venture away from home to square off against Iroquois at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wilmington, they will head out to challenge Grove City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
