Southwestern typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Rockcastle County proved too difficult a challenge. They snuck past the Southwestern Warriors with a 45-41 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Rockets who have now won three matchups in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Southwestern lost, don't look at Kinsley Molden. Despite the final result, she went 6 of 12 on her way to 15 points and seven rebounds. The contest was Molden's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Mckaila Monroe was another key player, putting up six points and nine boards.

Rockcastle County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for Southwestern, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 14-9 record.
