Softball Recap: Kenai Central Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kenai Central can now relate to. They lost 20-6 to the Sitka Wolves on Thursday. The Kardinals' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Kenai Central's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Sitka, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-14-4.

Looking ahead, Kenai Central will square off against Ketchikan at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. The Kings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.73 runs per game on average), something the Kardinals will no doubt try to take advantage of. Sitka does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
