Soccer Recap: Holy Cross Comes Up Short

Holy Cross was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Palmyra Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Palmyra this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Holy Cross' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-2. As for Palmyra, they now have a winning record of 5-4-3.

Coming up, Holy Cross will take on Riverside at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palmyra, they are taking a road trip to face off against KIPP Cooper Norcross at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
