Jamestown won the last time they faced Gloucester and things went their way on Monday too. The Eagles walked away with a 4-1 win over the Dukes. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Nathaniel Elliott spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on William Morris, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Jamestown's record is now 8-5. As for Gloucester, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
