Basketball Recap: Demotte Christian's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

DeMotte Christian came into Friday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the South Newton Rebels by a score of 58-50 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, South Newton still got an impressive performance from Matthew Armstrong, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. Armstrong also posted an assist, marking his first of the season. Dominic Scott was another key player, putting up ten points.
