Basketball Recap: Greenwich Takes a Loss

Greenwich entered their match against Ridgefield on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Greenwich Cardinals were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 41-40 to the Ridgefield Tigers. The loss put an end to the Cardinals' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Greenwich fell to 9-1. As for Ridgefield, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenwich will square off against Norwalk at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ridgefield, they will host Trumbull at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
