Volleyball Recap: Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg Takes a Loss

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg entered their matchup against Unity Christian on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg fell just short of Unity Christian by a score of 2-1. Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Unity Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2019.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-21, 21-25, 27-25.

Unity Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aurora Hamilton, who had 15 digs. That's the most digs Hamilton has posted since back in September.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg's loss dropped their record down to 24-11. As for Unity Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-8 record this season.
