Baseball Recap: Simeon Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Simeon came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Andrew Thunderbolts, falling 12-0. If the Wolverines were looking for revenge after losing 14-0 to the Thunderbolts when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Simeon saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Pondexter, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Simeon's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for Andrew, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Simeon will host Holy Trinity at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Andrew, they will square off against Glenbard North at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
