Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Joseph's Catholic). Everything went their way against the Carolina Academy Trojans on Monday as St. Joseph's Catholic made off with a 13-1 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 7-1.

St. Joseph's Catholic's offense was hitting Carolina Academy from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal. Lola Kelly led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

St. Joseph's Catholic's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Carolina Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
