Roxana can bid farewell to their nine-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They came out on top against the East Alton-Wood River Oilers by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Roxana easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 8-20. As for East Alton-Wood River, they dropped their record down to 2-27-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
