Recap: Bowdon Red Devils vs. Dooly County Bobcats
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Bowdon Red Devils walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 55-28 win over the Bobcats on the road. The result was nothing new for Bowdon, who have now won ten matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.
Kyler Mcgrinn was his usual excellent self, rushing for 340 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 13.6 yards per carry. Mcgrinn's longest rush was for an incredible 91 yards. Another player making a difference was Jordan Beasley, who rushed for 195 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries.
The victory was the 11th in a row for Bowdon, bringing their record for this year to 11-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34 points. As for Dooly County, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
Bowdon will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Schley County at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. Schley County is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Dooly County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
