Volleyball Recap: Kennedale Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Tuesday. Kennedale took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Godley. Kennedale hasn't had much luck with Godley recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Godley scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 23-25, 25-23, 25-22.

Kennedale's loss dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Godley, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kennedale is set to face off against their familiar foe Venus at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Godley will challenge rival Ferris at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
