Coldspring-Oakhurst had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 46-36 win over the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 70-32 victory the Fighting Owls walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Coldspring-Oakhurst's record is now 6-8. As for Anderson-Shiro, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coldspring-Oakhurst will take on New Waverly at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Anderson-Shiro, they will challenge Trinity at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
