Volleyball Recap: Illinois Math & Science Academy Takes a Loss

Illinois Math & Science Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Providence Catholic Celtics.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-8.

Illinois Math & Science Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-12-1. As for Providence Catholic, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

Illinois Math & Science Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Glenbard South on the 29th. As for Providence Catholic, they will take on De La Salle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
