Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Christian Academy walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Henryville Hornets on Thursday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Emma Doss paced Christian Academy's offense, picking up 15 kills. Doss got some help from Maddie Webb and her 20 assists. Ella Peach and Regan Barth kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Henryville's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ella Logsdon, who had eight kills and three blocks. Logsdon is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had eight or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. Lylia Martin was another key player, getting 12 assists and four digs.

Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 23-9. As for Henryville, their loss dropped their record down to 20-10.

Christian Academy has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Lanesville on the 18th. Henryville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
