Baseball Game Preview: Carlisle Thundering Herd vs. Waynesboro Indians

The Carlisle Thundering Herd will challenge the Waynesboro Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Waynesboro took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Carlisle, who comes in off a win.

While Carlisle's victory against Central Dauphin East wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Thundering Herd skirted past the Panthers 5-3. The win continues a trend for the Thundering Herd in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Bradyn Sober was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Waynesboro's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of James Buchanan.

Waynesboro's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Carlisle, their victory bumped their record up to 6-13.
