Volleyball Game Preview: Trinity Lutheran Cougars vs. Floyd Central Highlanders

The Trinity Lutheran Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Floyd Central Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Trinity Lutheran managed to slip by Bloomington South the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Panthers on Saturday.

Madison typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Floyd Central proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cubs. The win continues a trend for the Highlanders in their matchups with the Cubs: they've now won nine in a row.

While Floyd Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-23.

Trinity Lutheran better keep an eye on Evie Naville. She was instrumental in Floyd Central's win, getting nine digs and one assist. That's the most digs Naville has posted over her last six contests.

Floyd Central's record now sits at 20-4. As for Trinity Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 15-10.
