Football Game Recap: Alto vs. Corrigan-Camden

After a disappointing 0 points in the matchup before, Corrigan-Camden made sure to put some points up on the board against Alto on Friday. Corrigan-Camden were able to grind out a solid victory over Alto, winning 39-26. Alto can consider this payback for the 21-42 defeat they dealt Corrigan-Camden the last time the teams encountered one another.

Corrigan-Camden got off to a slow start in their last-week game, but they had no such trouble against Alto and cruised to a 25-point first half. Alto wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 7 to make it 25-7 heading into the break. Corrigan-Camden were outperformed in the second half 14-19 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The win bumped their record up to 4-1. The loss dropped Alto's record to 3-2.

Corrigan-Camden will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against New Waverly in two weeks at 7:30 PM. As for Alto, they will face off against Big Sandy.
