Softball Recap: Lakewood Park Christian Comes Up Short

The Panthers fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 11-9 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost six in a row.

Lily Morris made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Reagan Nott was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Lakewood Park Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Westview, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
