Volleyball Recap: Jamestown Red & Green vs. Portville Panthers

Jamestown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Portville Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Jamestown was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-23, 25-9.

Jamestown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Portville, their victory was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-2-2.
