Travis Dye Puts an End to Anaconda's Losing Streak on Friday
Anaconda's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Travis Dye. On Friday Dye rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 90 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up 0.5 sacks and made five total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Anaconda's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Dye will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Loyola-Sacred Heart on Friday.

Andrew Richardson put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. He threw for 270 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt.

Ethan Stack Delivers Electric Effort Vs Thompson Falls
Another Loyola-Sacred Heart player making an appearance on this list is Ethan Stack. He picked up 135 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 68 yards.
Stack must have Thompson Falls's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Stack saw the Blue Hawks), he picked up 126 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Florence-Carlton Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Mason Arlington
Mason Arlington was instrumental in extending Florence-Carlton's winning streak to six on Friday. Arlington was dynamite, throwing for 198 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 37 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Arlington might just drop another big game when he faces off against Thompson Falls on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Arlington saw the Blue Hawks), he threw for 226 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown.

Emmet Mckim Rounds Out Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Emmet Mckim of Lincoln County. Mckim picked up 31 receiving yards.
For the year, Mckim has averaged 31.3 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 7.29 receiving yards per game.
