Basketball Game Preview: Gadsden County Jaguars vs. Crossroad Academy Scorpions

Gadsden County and Crossroad Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. The Gadsden County Jaguars will head out to face off against the Crossroad Academy Scorpions at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Two weeks ago, Gadsden County came up short against Marianna and fell 61-53. The Jaguars have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Crossroad Academy also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Godby by a score of 49-39.

Gadsden County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Crossroad Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

Gadsden County didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Crossroad Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 61-56 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gadsden County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
