There's no place like home for Linsly, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They took down the Oak Glen Golden Bears 62-46 on Wednesday. Given the Cadets' advantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Golden Bears are ranked 309th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Oak Glen's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kensington McConnachie, who went 6 for 11 on her way to 14 points, and Emma Everett, who posted nine points. The dominant performance gave Everett a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Keira Vick, who put up seven points.

The win got Linsly back to even at 7-7. As for Oak Glen, their record now sits at 9-6.

Linsly wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 75-35 loss against Morgantown on the 31st. As for Oak Glen, they have also already played their next game, a 48-43 victory against Catholic Central on the 30th.
