Soccer Game Preview: Legend vs. Castle View

Legend is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Thursday. They will look to defend their home pitch against the Castle View Sabercats at 7:30 p.m.

Legend took a five-goal loss the last time they faced off against Rocky Mountain, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Legend skirted past Rocky Mountain 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for Legend.

Meanwhile, Castle View hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. Neither they nor ThunderRidge could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Castle View's first draw of the season.

Legend now has a winning record of 2-1-1. With that draw, Castle View's record moves to 4-0-1.

Legend might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Castle View in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can Legend avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
