Baseball Recap: New Canaan Rams vs. Ridgefield Tigers
New Canaan's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Trumbull on Monday. The Rams skirted past the Ridgefield Tigers 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Zak Joslin looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, New Canaan's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit.
