Softball Recap: Gainesville Victorious

Gainesville's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Forest Wildcats 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Hurricanes in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

Not much got past Leanna Bourdage, who gave up just a hit and racked up 21 Ks to keep Forest off the board.

On the hitting side, Gainesville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Barton, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
