Soccer Recap: Machias Comes Up Short

Machias was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Woodland Dragons, falling 3-0. That's two games in a row now that Machias have lost by exactly three goals.

Machias' loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Woodland, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Coming up, Machias will challenge Bangor Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodland will be paying especially close attention to the Bulldogs' match: after the Bulldogs face off against the Patriots, they'll take on Woodland again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
