Football Game Recap: Central vs. Potosi

The last time they met, Central were the 28-20 winner over Potosi. This time around? They had no such luck. Central had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it on Friday as the squad lost 6-7 to Potosi. The defeat was a vexing one since Central were expected to win based on their state ranking. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 3-3.

Next week Central take on Perryville at 7:00 PM. Perryville also experienced difficulties finding the end zone in their contest this week, so look for the defenses to decide this one. Potosi will look to defend their home turf against New Madrid County Central at 7:00 PM. Unlike Potosi, New Madrid County Central will be limping in after taking a loss.
