Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wellsville). Everything went their way against the Chaney Cowboys on Tuesday as they made off with a 15-4 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Tyler Landess was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Austin Watkins, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-13. As for Chaney, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Wellsville and Chaney will both be playing David Anderson the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Cowboys will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
