Basketball Recap: Costa Mesa Mustangs vs. Fullerton Indians
Costa Mesa was the 78-66 winner over Fullerton when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Costa Mesa Mustangs fell 61-51 to the Fullerton Indians on Friday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Fullerton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Myvett, who went 9 of 15 on his way to 25 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jad Mustafa, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards.
Costa Mesa's loss dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Fullerton, their victory bumped their record up to 16-11.
