Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Clint walked away with it. They walked away with a 37-26 win over the Irvin Rockets on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now won six in a row.

Clint had a senior duo take command as Anabella Portillo posted 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals and Chloe Arredondo scored 13 points and six boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Arredondo has scored at least a third of Clint's points.

Clint smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in eight consecutive matches.

Clint's record now sits at 22-9. As for Irvin, their loss dropped their record down to 10-19.

Clint wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 70-33 defeat against Pampa on the 14th. Irvin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
