Softball Recap: O'Bannon Comes Up Short

If O'Bannon was feeling good fresh off their 22-14 takedown of Simmons last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Greenwaves fell 18-13 to the Edwards Tigers on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 33-18 two weeks ago.

O'Bannon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Edwards, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

O'Bannon has already played their next game, a 19-3 loss against Riverside on the 8th. As for Edwards, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-4 defeat against Horn Lake on the 8th.
