Josie Nance and Lillie Raegner secure win for Middle Park

Recap: Middle Park Panthers vs. DSST: Montview Knights
The Middle Park Panthers waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins but they left with five. They took down DSST: Montview 36-22. This was payback for Middle Park, who suffered a 45-27 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Leading Middle Park to victory were Josie Nance and Lillie Raegner. Nance scored six points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Raegner scored ten points along with four steals. Raegner has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.
Middle Park's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for DSST: Montview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Middle Park will take on Forge Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Forge Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 45 last Wednesday. As for DSST: Montview, they will be playing at home against KIPP Denver Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. KIPP Denver Collegiate is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
