Knightstown skates past Cambridge City Lincoln with ease

The Knightstown Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 61-31 victory over Cambridge City Lincoln. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Knightstown as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Knightstown found their leader in underclassman Lilly Drew, who shot 4-for-6 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Drew continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Jaycie Cole was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with four steals.

Knightstown's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Knightstown will square off against Union County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Union County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, they will head out on the road to take on Blue River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Blue River Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday.
