Volleyball Recap: Rough Rock Takes a Loss

Rough Rock lost against Grand Canyon back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sun Devils fell 3-1 to the Phantoms.

The final score came out to 25-18, 24-26, 25-19, 25-15.

Grand Canyon found their leader in sophomore Xochitl Jimenez, who had 14 digs.

Rough Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Grand Canyon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-12.

Rough Rock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against St. Michael on the 1st. As for Grand Canyon, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Mogollon on the 1st.
