Softball Recap: C.H. Yoe Takes a Loss

C.H. Yoe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 6-1 to the Thrall Tigers. That's two games in a row now that the Yoemen have lost by exactly five runs.

Josie Laureano made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

C.H. Yoe's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Thrall, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

While C.H. Yoe had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
