Soccer Recap: Gibson County Takes a Loss

The Gibson County Pioneers didn't have quite enough to beat the Fayette Academy Vikings on Friday and fell 4-3. Jaxon Coffman was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Gibson County's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Fayette Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.

Gibson County has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against South Fulton on the 1st. As for Fayette Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 defeat against Freedom Prep Academy on the 31st.
