Volleyball Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short

Lexington lost against Winchester back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Minutemen lost 3-0 to the Red & Black. The Minutemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Maria-Helen Xanthopoulos paced Lexington's offense, picking up five kills. Xanthopoulos got some help from Anna He and her ten assists. Erin He controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lexington now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Winchester, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Lexington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Stoneham on the 9th. As for Winchester, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Watertown on the 9th.
