Volleyball Recap: Gillespie Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Gillespie lost against Carrollton back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Miners fell 2-0 to the Hawks.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13.

Mabry Robeen was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 15 digs and three assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Gillespie's loss dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Carrollton, they pushed their record up to 24-5-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Gillespie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Southwestern on the 21st. As for Carrollton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Greenfield/Northwestern on the 23rd.
