Hathaway has gone 10-0 against Lacassine recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Hathaway Hornets will square off against the Lacassine Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Hathaway was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 48-43 to Bell City. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Bruins are ranked 22nd).

Meanwhile, Lacassine came up short against Kinder on Tuesday and fell 62-55.

Lacassine has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. As for Hathaway, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-17.

Hathaway came out on top in a nail-biter against Lacassine in their previous meeting last Tuesday, sneaking past 48-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hathaway since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
