Basketball Recap: Heritage Academy Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Phoenix Country Day, Heritage Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They managed a 47-41 victory over the NFL Yet Academy Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Heroes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

It was another big night for Danye Sypho, who went 8 for 18 on his way to 28 points and eight boards.

The win got Heritage Academy back to even at 6-6. As for NFL Yet Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Heritage Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-52 victory against Santa Cruz Valley on the 16th. NFL Yet Academy has also already played their next game, a 58-43 win against Trivium Prep on the 13th.
