Volleyball Recap: Rockwall Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Rockwall entered their tilt with Longview on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lobos. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-16.

Ryan Anderson paced Rockwall's offense, picking up 11 kills. Anderson got some help from Ainsley Edgington and her 37 assists. Olivia Clayton controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Longview's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Landry Tubb, who had 21 digs and one assist, and Aubrey Orban, who had 14 assists and nine digs. Tubb is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Rockwall's win bumped their record up to 21-15. As for Longview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-11 record this season.

Rockwall has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against North Forney on the 7th. As for Longview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Royse City on the 7th.
