Volleyball Recap: Mt. Pulaski Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mt. Pulaski lost against Hartsburg-Emden back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hilltoppers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stags.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13.

Elayna Marten paced Mt. Pulaski's offense, picking up six kills. Marten got some help from Alyson Murphy and her 13 assists.

Mt. Pulaski's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-6. As for Hartsburg-Emden, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Mt. Pulaski wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against St. Teresa on the 6th. As for Hartsburg-Emden, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Midwest Central on the 6th.
