Basketball Recap: Mt. Olive Gets the Win

First Baptist Academy came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Mt. Olive, but Matthew Bywater wouldn't allow it. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, the Mt. Olive Wildcats made off with a 49-48 win over First Baptist Academy thanks in part to Bywater, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 boards. He has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times he's played.

Mt. Olive's record now sits at 4-9. As for First Baptist Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt.
