Football Recap: Rockwall-Heath Starts Season with Win on the Road + How To Watch

Rockwall-Heath had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They had just enough and edged out the Highland Park Scots 52-49. For the Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 34-21 win the Scots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Rockwall-Heath's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Prosper Neal, who threw for 171 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 33 yards and a pair of scores. The dominant performance also gave Neal a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Another rusher making a difference was Carter Zahm, who rushed for 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries.

Coming up, Rockwall-Heath will face off against Prosper at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Highland Park, they will square off against Lovejoy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
