Unioto was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Adena on Monday. The Shermans' pitcher stepped up to hand the Warriors a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Shermans, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Unioto got a great performance from Blake Sanders as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Sanders has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Unioto let Keegan Snyder and Callaway Ratliff run wild. Snyder went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI, while Ratliff went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Jaxon Zickafoose was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Unioto's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Adena, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coming up, Unioto will face off against Logan Elm at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Braves have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Adena, they will challenge Westfall at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
